    Nine Torque is an independent prestige Porsche and Jaguar Land Rover specialist workshop based in Alva, Clackmannanshire — Central Scotland, near Stirling. We are a vehicle electrician at heart: factory-level diagnostics, complex electrical fault tracing, and drivetrain repair on the two marques we know best.

    Factory-level fault diagnosis using PIWIS III for Porsche and SDD / Pathfinder + Topix Cloud for Jaguar Land Rover. Every module read, not just emissions codes.

    PDK & Aisin gearbox repair

    Mechatronic unit repair and replacement, clutch pack refresh, oil and filter service, and PIWIS adaptation reset for Porsche PDK and Aisin transmissions.

    Secure Gateway access

    Authenticated diagnostic and coding access for post-2021 Porsche (via Porsche PPN) and JLR from 2017MY onwards (via Topix Cloud and SDA). Most independents are locked out — we are not.

    Electrical fault tracing

    CAN bus faults, parasitic battery drain, intermittent warning lights, ground faults, and complex wiring repair on prestige Porsche and JLR vehicles.

    ECU coding, programming and key services

    Online module coding, key programming, IMS bearing retrofits, and virginising of used ECUs to save thousands versus new dealer parts.

    What does Nine Torque do?
    Nine Torque is a prestige vehicle electrician and specialist workshop. We service Porsche and Jaguar Land Rover only. Core work is factory-level diagnostics (PIWIS III, SDD / Pathfinder, Topix Cloud), PDK and Aisin gearbox repair, Secure Gateway diagnostic access (post-2021 Porsche; JLR from 2017MY), electrical fault tracing, and ECU coding.
    Are you a Porsche or JLR main dealer?
    No. Nine Torque is fully independent. We use the same factory diagnostic tools and online accounts as the dealers (PIWIS III with a live Porsche PPN account, Topix Cloud for JLR) but operate as an independent specialist with typically shorter wait times and lower labour rates.
    Can you work on a 2021+ Porsche or a modern JLR with Secure Gateway?
    Yes. We hold live Porsche PPN and JLR online accounts, so we can authenticate through Porsche Secure Gateway (2021+ vehicles) and JLR Secure Diagnostic Access / Topix Cloud (required from 2017MY for Discovery and Range Rover, 2018MY for other JLR models). Most independents cannot.
